Automatic label printer

This application illustrates how processes in the textile production line can be automated. The manual application of labels is a very laborious and cost-intensive process for which several employees have to be assigned in several shifts. In addition, monotonous tasks offer a high potential for errors.

To save costs and relieve the employees, this step was automated with the help of an igus® line gantry robot. With only 2 degrees of freedom required, the material costs are low and the robot is able to run 24 hours, resulting in a very short payback time.
