GR1 is a 165 cm 55 kg humanoid designed for collaborative tasks. With 44 DOF and 40 FSA actuators up to 230 Nm it enables dynamic motion and 5 kmh walking. The motion library supports gripping twisting squatting and responsive interaction with LLM based control.
Vision includes RealSense depth RGB cameras and BEV Transformer processing for 3D occupancy maps. The Intel I7 platform with Ubuntu ROS2 and wireless links provides reliable performance. The 483 Wh battery offers 60 min operation and 45 min walking under safety standards.
ROS2 and open APIs enable integration for sensor access planning and AI research across assistive and educational environments. The platform supports modular development enabling rapid deployment of embodied AI behaviors in real settings.
