Robot scans packages on a conveyor belt

A classic robot task across a production line is automated scanning operations, for example of barcodes. In this case, the scanner was attached to an igus Robolink DP5.

The application illustrates how monotonous tasks that were previously performed manually can be automated. Thanks to the low initial costs of the robot, the return on investment was achieved within a few months.
